The Story of Coffee 9

Our story begins in 1956. Coffee 9 is a coffee manufacturer based in Pontian, founded by Lim Ah Kaw. In the early 1950s, Ah Kaw began to sell the Nanyang Coffee powder by riding an old bicycle and shuttling through the streets of Pontian.

Every step of the coffee’s journey, from seed in the ground to freshly brewed cup in your hands, is done with heart. We promised to make a cup of coffee of the highest quality, bursting with the distinctive scent of Nanyang Chinese coffee.

From seed to cup, our coffee beans have been roasted and ground in a traditional method that has passed down from generation to generation, preserving the most authentic taste and fragrance of coffee. We constantly source the best coffee beans and insist on roasting and grinding by ourselves to bring out the aroma and flavor that is locked inside the coffee beans.
